providing consultancy services on planning, management and architecture
for development co-operation. The main sectors Group 5 is working

companies. In this way our company has been working with HEART
Consultancy since its establishment through their complementary
expertise in the field of medical infrastructure and equipment.

The National Institute of Public Health and the Environment (RIVM)
in the Netherlands has responsibilities regarding governmental
policy-making and supervision of public health, nature, and the
environment. At the LGM medicinal products and medical devices
for human application are assessed (registration) and tested (inspection
and control). LGM's tasks include supportive research and participation
in (inter)national harmonisation activities in these fields. We
co-operate with the LGM in relation to our research for improvement
of sterilization practices.

After the dissolution of the European Society for Hospital Sterile
Supply (ESH) in 1998 many felt the need to maintain contact with
European sister associations. This is the reason why the European
Forum for Hospital Sterile Supply (EFHSS) was established.

The Dutch Central Sterilization Club (CSC) is an association with
the intention to act as a forum for all who are interested in
the preparation and the function of Central Sterile Supply Departments,
sterilization procedures and the handling of sterile devices for
medical purposes. Furthermore the CSC encourages fundamental and
practical research of field related issues.
